i just recently purchased a full size gmc jimmy. it has a 1985 350 engine in it, there are no mods to the engine. the only upgrade on the jimmy is the 31" tires. i could use some advice on parts i should use. i dont want to really raise the ride heighth. im really worried about an exhaust since in is just running from the headers to cherry bombs. i want to change that. i still want to keep the dual exhaust. im just a weekend 4x4er. so some advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Barry,

Can you tell me more about why you'd like to get rid of your cherry bombs? Don't like the sound? ;-)

you can buy new haeders for a 350 but get them for a 66 chevy nova. this makes the exhaust not bend around the transfer case. you can run a straight peice of pipe on the passenger side cause the driver side is straight to begin with. then you can put a set of turbo mufflers on it. this makes it sound good and have less noise. that is what i did on my 84 chevy 1/2 ton shortbed 4x4 and it sounds and looks great.

So GMS Jimmy - not bad car... If you want to ride on the real car, you need take 31 tires and normal exchaust... and real sound))) That`s all, what you need to get a real man car...
