what transmission should i use with a chevy 402 crate moter?
Hi,
the Chevy 402 is a big block 6.6l of old generation, (around 1970) of about 300hp
The original transmission should be a GM TH-400 from the late sixties ('65-'70)
My suggestion is to upgrade to a more recent 4 gears transmission, like the GM TH 700-r4
