I've wanted to build a supercab version myself ! There are all kinds of kits out there to put a small block V8 or straight 6cyl in place of the little 4cyl if you need more power ! Although GMPP has all kinds of Performance Parts for these 4 cylinders now several racing series are running these engines and doing quite well. Axles are another story, I haven't done the research but I'm sure you could use full size axles and find narrowing kits that are for this kind of rig. I have a buddy who has a shop and he put a 383 cid small block V8 in his S-10 and it did great till it tore the little 3.43 gears out of the rear, because of all the power and 33inch x 12.50 wide tires on corvette wheels (LOL) !!! Depending on what you want to spend you can have a lot of fun with stock parts, and if you look on Craig's List you find a lot of these trucks for sale cheap, and parts. Post some photos when you start swaping parts , build thread are always cool to read through !

Looking for info on what axles will swap into my 1969 K10 4x4 Suburban. I have the old school type and want to switch to a new style (disc brake front) with highway gears(factory). This is a daily driver so I should be able to find a stock set someone pulled out to up grade theirs to lower gear or heavy duty in their later model that will fit in place of mine. I would love to talk with some one who has done this swap or knows a website with tech help on this swap. Thanks

my brother and law has recently given me a 1990 jeep wrangler he bought a few years ago as a project but never had the time to do anything to it. It has never ran since he bought it, he told me all it needed was a new distributor and it would be fine i changed this and still nothing. I am new to four wheeling and do not know much abou trucks i am hoping to learn alot so if anyone can help me that would be greatly appriciated.

Hi,

Never seen such a transformation, but if it is doable, for what price and effort? Maybe better to sell it and buy a 4x4 ;-)

hi there,

I own a 2000 checy s10 and decided I want to do a little customizing to it. With the combination of my complete lack of experience and not seeing too many hardcore off road s10's, I have no idea where to start. Does anyone have any suggestions? I realize that it isn't much to work with (2.2 L and 4x2) but I gotta start somewhere right? Any and all comments are welcome, from lifts to engine swaps to tires etc. I just thought it would be a good idea to hear what someone with a little more experience had to say. Keep in mind I am a college student so funds are slightly limited.
